Upcycled Firehose
Made from retired firehoses, material strong enough to face fires, now handcrafted into bags and accessories. Once used by firefighters to save lives, these hoses take on a second life through the hands of Bangkok artisan Chanaphat.
Incredibly sturdy and naturally water-resistant, each firehose undergoes a demanding process: a full week of hand-cleaning followed by several days of skilled handcrafting. Inspired by the courage at the heart of firefighting, our crafter Chanaphat designed this collection with unique patterns that symbolize different forms of bravery. Born from her bachelor’s thesis, this project embodies her passion for design, creativity, and sustainability.
By upcycling up to 300 firehoses each year, we not only reduce waste but also provide meaningful income for the tailors we work with. Every piece carries both strength and story: a tribute to resilience, courage, and craft.
