Medical waste is a significant challenge, with over a million dialysis bags discarded monthly in Thailand. At QA Crafts, we are dedicated to addressing this issue by recycling these dialysis bags and transforming them into contemporary lifestyle accessories.
In partnership with a Thai university, we procure dialysis bags directly from home-based patients who don't have access to hospital treatments. This initiative not only mitigates medical waste but also provides these patients with crucial financial support for their dialysis treatments. Furthermore, we are proud to support the livelihood of elderly women artisans whom we have trained and who skilfully transform the dialysis bags into unique accessories.
